Sometimes we need to be gentle with ourselves and rest, and other times we have the energy to fearlessly chase our dreams. These needs follow a cycle - your menstrual cycle. Learn to channel your menstrual cycle into a creative process that allows you to fully embrace yourself.
We will be working with the Divine Feminie. The divine feminine is a creative energy. Pregnancy and birth are just one way that it shows up, but you do not need to do those things to embody it. It is always within you, within all of us. Throughout the seasons of our lives and the seasons of our menstrual cycle, the divine feminine is expressed in 4 archetypes: The Maiden, The Mother, The Enchantress, and The Crone. These four archetypes are the thread that connects every person who identifies with femininity. In this four week class we will explore the creative power of our menstrual cycle through the lens of these archetypes, and bring them to life artistically.
You will also gain the skills to cultivate a creative morning practice, and track your menstrual cycle.

Sharon is a Philadelphia based artist and facilitator. Her background in exhibition design and community organizing has lead her to create artwork that is communicable to people across ages and backgrounds. Central to Sharon’s artistic approach is a connection to community, and an obligation to ask: how can this art catalyze participation?
Sharon believes that creativity is within all people, though we may just need some help from our community to access it. Her art aims to fill that void, and create moments where people are moved to creatively think, feel, reflect, and make art. Learn more about Sharon at www.sharonacolor.com
